BOCA RATON, Fla., March 7, 2018 (Newswire.com) – Phyto Partners has announced the launch of their second cannabis venture capital fund, Phyto II. The $100 million fund will invest in privately held companies that provide business critical services and solutions to the burgeoning marijuana industry.

Phyto II is a venture capital fund that invests in businesses operating in and around the fast-growing and highly regulated marijuana industry. Phyto’s managing partners, Larry Schnurmacher and Brett Finkelstein, have over 50 years combined experience investing in public and private companies. In 2017, Phyto was named one of the “Top 5 Marijuana Investment Funds” by Forbes Magazine. Phyto II fund is an opportunity for accredited investors to buy into the exploding Cannabis industry.

According to Mr. Schnurmacher, “Phyto focuses its capital on companies that can easily scale, require low capex, and have reasonable valuations. Most importantly, we only invest in companies with viable exit strategies. Our ultimate goal is to monetize our investments for our partners”. Adding, “Every investment we make has the possibility of returning the entire size of the fund.”

Brett Finkelstein, Managing Director of the fund, states that “Marijuana’s continued acceptance will be hugely disruptive for many industries… Pharmaceuticals & Healthcare, Alcohol, Food & Beverage, Nutrition & Wellness, the list goes on and on.
